Terry, please die...

I am so pissed today. And not pissed at life (which I usually am lately), but pissed at what is going on around me. Things I can't necessarily control. Things like the fucking congress and president wasting time & money on poor Terry Schiavo who should just die. I am saying this with the utmost respect and compassion.

This poor woman needs to die. She's been like this for 15 years. If there were souls or spirits, she's now in some limbo waiting to die. Imagine if she wanted to die but couldn't do it because she is being held alive. What happen to celebrating the pathway to death? If this has to be about some religion bullshit, and heaven is a great fucking place, then why won't her damm parents allow her to pass on to heaven. Won't it be better there than in a fucking room for 15 years? Doesn't her family have anything better to do than hold on to an empty body? Are they going to keep letting her live in hopes that one day, after 15 fucking years, she's going to stop being a vegetable? Where's the conclusive evidence of her getting better?

What really pisses me off is this: Who fucking cares? Really? This should only be a problem for the legal gardien, which is her husband, who is still her husband after all this time and bullshit. Why should our congress give a shit. Save one life today and kill 1000 tomorrow due to poor health care, wars, poverty, and general stupidity. Yeah, makes sense to me. And the president? Couldn't he just issue some statement stating his views and then let the courts and/or people decide? Anybody who wants to impose their opinion on this situation is fucking stupid. Did anyone of these people meet her when she was alive or half-dead? Did they read the court transcripts? Did Bill Frist really base his opinion on seeing some fucking videos and claim he now knows what we should all do for her because he's a hack of a doctor?

The problem is this, yes it is good to protect life, and yes Bush, we should try to err on the side of life in complicated matters. This is a good idea. But when it comes to someones personal life and the people around them, don't you think they should have some say in what is going on? And also, shouldn't the federal government leave it up to local and state governments? The case went to the supreme court TWICE, and was sent back. Doesn't this say that the matter should be handled more locally? It is the difference between having good ideals and morals, and having a realistic way involving the real world.

Please Terry die. I really feel bad for her, and I normally don't feel bad for anyone. I feel sorry that she has to go through all of this. Souls & afterlife or not, this isn't right. And the way the public and government is going totally fucking crazy, only makes the memory of her living life a stain in a short chapter of our country's history....

Our elected officials are corrupt empirailists one minute, then puritans the next. I would kill to work for a decent human being every once and awhile. They exist but they are few and far betweeen.

Take a look at how much money we are spending on blowing people in the middle east. We could have a single payer healthcare system for this amount. Or buy every homeless person a house. or do any number of wonderfull things that could make the world a better place. Instead we blow up children.

And bush thinks they hate us because we are free.

Lets invade Florida to take away their Weapons of Mass Euthanasia.

Meat-who?

Oh, ya... I can't imagine anyone seriously thinking that another person would WANT to be in that state. It's selfishness. I can't imagine being in denial of this fact for over ten years.
