After another well weathered winter, our porch suddenly emerged from hibration. It was so sudden that it startled and delighted me enough to write about it. I came home at lunch and without a thought punched in the garage door code. As it convulsed and then slowly unfolded like an old trap door, I happened to glance to the right. Low and behold, not only was there a visible path to the front door, but the UPS guy had actually left a soggy package there in the pools of melting snow. A spring miracle! The dogs were so alarmed when I came in the front door they forgot to bark and just stared. We have a front door? Oh, shit! I forgot.
Yeah, I know boys. I forgot too.
Editors Note: Hard to believe it was only a short month and a half that the snow was all the way up the door.
Posted by Kaz at April 7, 2005 9:55 PMHow 'bout a picture long from the front. I think you should wait until after my wedding so you have length to work with and style.
Posted by: gretchen at April 8, 2005 7:35 AMAwww, Gretchen, how 'bout you post a comment for the the appriopriate section?
*Note: it's my sister, I'm allowed some extreme sarcasm*
Posted by: at April 8, 2005 6:34 PMYo, I've never seen the porch! When I was there it was all snow and ice. You need to post some pix, nudge nudge, when it's all clear.
If you know what I might be saying?
Posted by: Rob at April 9, 2005 12:14 AMI deeply apologize for missing the the appropriate section.
