For the second day in a row it is... snowing. I'm not exaggerating. George and I actually had to contemplate shoveling off the pile in front of the garage to pull the vehicles in last night.
I am thinking of hosting a Christmas barbecue this year on the Fourth of July. Come in shorts, bring mistletoe and steaks.
I is going to snow here saturday. What the heck is wrong with the weather these days?
Posted by: reed at April 21, 2005 6:25 PMI wish we were having snow this weekend up here in Boston. Camping in the rain fucking sucks!
Posted by: Rob at April 21, 2005 8:07 PMWhen George and I took our "test" camp trip before the actual big haul across the U.S., we were camped out the first night in a wide grassy field. The worst thunderstorm swept through, wind and torrential downpours. We huddled in our tent and were terrified. Not because of the dangers of teh storm, but because we were sure all of our brand spankin' new gear was being swept away in the wrath of the storm. When it abated, we peeked out to find only our tarp had given way to the enormous puddle gathered in its middle and collapsed in on itself. Everything else was safe and dry.
Posted by: kaz at April 21, 2005 8:43 PMThe temps here in South Central Pennsyltucky dipped back into the low 60s today, with forecasted temps in the 50s for Sunday. Crazy weather. Then again, as cold as it is in my office, anything is warm! I think a penguin went walking by my desk yesterday.
